Climate Change Town Hall #1: Call for Action – A 7C’s* Forum for a 5-alarm Fire – T-Lab – Sat April 13th:
*Curbing our Contribution to Car Centric Causes of Climate Change
The Transportation Lab of Port Townsend is sponsoring a gathering of local climate-concerned activists and groups. Our intent is to create a groundswell of concern that can be taken to our elected government officials. We are looking for action on a larger scale than any of us can do individually. A debate on the reality of climate change will not be on the agenda. Rather, the focus is to form work groups for future actions. There will be short videos, guests and presentations to stimulate conversation. A special presentation from Bill McKibben will focus on Port Townsend. Everyone is welcome.
Time: 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Location: Unity Spiritual Center, 3918 San Juan Ave. PT
