“Recycling in Jefferson County – what is and is not recyclable, and why?”
This session will cover our unique source-separated recycling program in Jefferson County. Learn where our recycling goes, and what it becomes. Understand the history of recycling in our county and why we have been ahead of the curve for 30 years!
The class is held via the FinnRiver Incider Space. Check their web site for information on how to sign up and get the Zoom link.
Each session is held on the first Monday of the month. Co-sponsored by Local 20/20 Climate Action and Jefferson County Public Health, this is not a lecture series, but a book club & discussion format. Each session includes information to get the conversation started, followed by group discussions that include what locals think and what locals plan to do. For further information email Laura Tucker or call 360-379-4491.
