N95 Mask Survey
N95 masks are in VERY short supply in Jefferson County. In response to challenges related to the COVID-19 virus, the Local 20/20 NPREP Neighborhood Preparedness action group is doing a survey for the Department of Emergency Management (DEM) to determine if there are any N95 masks available in Jefferson County neighborhoods (by individuals or local neighborhood supplies) that could be donated to health care providers and other emergency responders in need.
If you have not already responded to this survey (which has been circulating by email as well), and have N95 masks and live in Jefferson County, please fill out the following, for yourself. If you are an organizer for your neighborhood, and have masks as part of your neighborhood supplies, please fill it out for that group as well.
There are no plans to collect any masks at this time. Survey results will help DEM determine if and how mask collection should proceed.
If you have any N95 masks, please send an e-mail to nprep-covid@L2020.org with the following information:
I have (# of)_______ unsealed masks that I am willing to donate.
I have (# of)_______ sealed masks that I am willing to donate
PLEASE NOTE: Please do not go to or call the hospital or other clinics about masks. Also, do not respond to this regarding HOMEMADE MASKS. Details for mask making for community use only are still pending. Information will be posted on the Dept. of Emergency Management’s webpage (www.jeffcoeoc.org) when it is available.
