Update: see the list of organizations participating here!
Climate Change news can be overwhelming, every week there seems to be more reasons for concern. But there is hope. The tide is not only rising, it is turning, and there are positive actions happening around the globe and in our own backyard! This event will include a presentation on reasons for hope from a global, national and local perspective. Following the presentation, we will adjourn for a dessert potluck and an opportunity to meet local groups involved in local climate action – from transportation options, to reducing our food carbon footprint, and more. Bring a dessert to share, and leave with reasons for hope!
Saturday, February 7th from 7 to 9pm. Quimper Unitarian Universalist Fellowship; 2333 San Juan Avenue in Port Townsend. Please share this information with others in your circle who are looking for hope too! Contact Laura Tucker for more details. Brought to you by Local 20/20 Climate Action and Quimper Unitarian Universalist Green Sanctuary Committee.
