Sip cider while steeping in planetary inspiration and possibilities for sustainability and earthly interconnectivity. The series starts on Thursday, January 18th, with biologist and author Dr. Fred Sharpe speaking. Dr. Sharpe, with the Alaska Whale Foundation, has been investigating the behavior of humpback whales for over a quarter century. Humpback whales release bubbles to catch fish and signal among their kith and kin. However, this mode of communication is poorly understood, as bubbles are not wielded by terrestrial animals.
