This Week
Free Nutritious Gourmet Meals in Jefferson County – now through July 4th Beginning June 20th, for 15 days, residents and guests of Jefferson County will be able to receive free, gourmet, plant-based meals for breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner. Together Around Food is an innovative community program being pioneered in the State of Washington with the intention of spreading worldwide, and will run through July 4th. Its mission is simple yet transformative: to ensure that every person in a community has access to nutritious, gourmet, plant-based meals — three times a day, seven days a week — completely free of charge. United Earth Networks and PT Veg have joined together with Climate Healers, Loving Hut, and several collaborating organizations to bring this to Jefferson County. Visit the Together Around Food website for more information on specific locations and times for the meals.

Calling Local Photographers!
Local 20/20 Weekly Announcements invites local photographers to submit images that capture the character of our community and its natural setting. For the opening photo of each weekly email (which is also posted to our website), we seek local color, horizontal (“landscape”) orientation, and jpeg format. Please no children, pets, or recognizable faces. Kindly email your photos, including your name in the jpeg filename. If you’re sending multiple images, please send one per email. We are an all-volunteer non-profit, so compensation for your talent and generosity is a photo credit and our profound thanks.
