Beyond Waste Action Group Meeting – Wed, Jul 2nd
The Beyond Waste Action Group meets the first Wednesday of each quarter at 10:30 a.m.-12:00 pm via zoom. The group looks at a number of issues including food-waste composting, plastics reduction and recycling, reduction of garbage on an individual and community level, and various other waste-related topics that spontaneously come up during the meeting. Trivia Night with PTMSC at the Port Townsend Public Library – Wed, Jul 2nd *New*
Join the Port Townsend Marine Science Center at the Port Townsend Public Library for Trivia Night! Admission is free. Families are welcome, and trivia questions will be designed for ages 12+. Pizza and snacks will be provided. Prizes will be awarded to the winning team. Teams are encouraged to wear PTMSC apparel, any marine animal-themed apparel, or any literary-themed apparel to the event. Planning on attending? Please send an e-mail to Youth Librarian, Emily Bufford to make sure that there is plenty of pizza and snacks for everyone! Come on out for a fun-filled night!

Local 20/20 Climate Group – Thu, Jul 3rd
The Local 20/20 Climate Group meets monthly, on the first Thursday, in person or online. The group is focused on both reducing greenhouse gas emissions and preparing for climate impacts.
