Learn about Jefferson County recycling program changes – Thu, Mar 19th
For those living in unincorporated Jefferson County, learn more about the changes coming to the recycling program. Beginning April 1st, the un-staffed recycling drop boxes will be removed. Want to know more? Visit the website or attend a presentation:

Port Townsend Community Dance – Sat, Mar 21st *New*
The Port Townsend Community Dance is inspired by traditional kitchen and barn dances and features a mixture of traditional sets, always danced to live music along with a dance caller. All experience levels are welcome; all dances are taught!
Admission is $10 per person/$20 per family; however, no one will be turned away at the door. Please bring your own personal water bottle and consider arriving on foot or by bicycle if possible. Come alone, with a friend, with a partner, with the family – or with the whole village!

A benefit for the Port Townsend Marine Science Center. Dive into an evening of delicious dinner, drinks, curious minds, marine science play, and a joyful paddle raise. Come Make Waves! In support of the Salish Sea.

Basics of Brooder Management: Natembea NW Class Series – Sat, Mar 21st
This will be the second class in the Natembea NW Class Series. With the guidance of Theresa Kim from Mollayo Farm, you’ll explore a live brooder setup housing approximately 300 chicks and see best practices in action—from heat management to ventilation, lighting, and bedding.

Brinnon Repair Event – Sat, Mar 21st
Join JeffCo Repair for this free community gathering in which people with repair skills share their time and talents to fix their neighbors’ belongings. Bring your toaster that no longer toasts, sweater with a hole in the elbow, and excitement to get these belongings repaired while also learning how they did it and ways you could do it yourself next time!

Music + Nature – Sun, Mar 22nd
Join Jefferson Land Trust for a special event celebrating spring. Nature offers musicians an endless score while music becomes a conversation with our living world. Enjoy Devin Champlin and the Diamond Club Band as they explore themes inspired by nature’s power at this family friendly concert at the Quilcene Lantern, one of the Land Trust’s protected properties.
