Join Jefferson Land Trust for this virtual gathering to hear Terry Tempest Williams, acclaimed author, educator, conservationist, and activist as she discusses the importance of finding grace and meaning in the natural world during uncertain times, exploring themes of climate change, mortality, and human connection through encounters with ordinary, often overlooked elements of nature. Williams’ personal and contemplative work encourages readers to pay attention to the sacredness of life through small moments, each offering a path to hope.

What Happens When You Flip the Switch? – Wed, Mar 11th *New*
Join a tour of our community owned electrical grid—Jefferson Public Utility District (JPUD).
Electricity is the lifeblood of modern life, but most have a limited understanding of the miracle has happens to enable the lights to come on whenever we choose. Visit elements of our electrical grid and learn from experts from JPUD. Jemeson Hahn, JPUD Digital Communications Specialist, will lead the tour. For the opening photo of each weekly email (which is also posted to our website), we seek local color, horizontal (“landscape”) orientation, and jpeg format.
