Mycelium

Local 20/20 has been getting more attention of late, but for years it has identified more with the mycelium of the forest floor… providing a fertile matrix for things to grow while remaining all but invisible itself.   Every once in a while a mycelium structure will partner with a compatible mycelium to produce a fruiting body, such as a mushroom or a film fest, thus becoming visible for a short while.
