They practice together to move from human being to earth being, in reverence and respect for earth, on the 4th Saturdays of every month. They meet outside, in rain, snow, or shine, unless the conditions are severe enough to pose a safety concern. Please dress for the weather! There are three mostly equal parts: Greeting/Grounding, Wandering/Wondering, Circling-Up/Sharing. Children are welcome, but parents need to help guide them. Upcoming Events Parent Enrichment Series – Mon, Nov 27th *Updated* Waldorf Parent Educators and founders of Pathwise Parenting, Joleen Hollow-Bist and Jennifer Winson, will facilitate the last of three parent enrichment evenings. Research from attachment psychology, mindfulness based stress reduction, and Waldorf education will be used to enrich the art of parenting. Explore parenting topics while they develop warm community connections in order to deepen and enliven your role as parent/caregiver and help weave a common understanding of child development and Waldorf education. But it is not just a concert. The performance engages the power of artistic expression — live music, spoken words, images, and poetry — to connect audiences deeply and emotionally to the scientific realities of climate change. Featuring Nelda Swiggett (compositions, piano, narrative, curated images), Julian Smedley (violin), Clif Swiggett (trombone), Chris Symer (bass), Adam Kessler (drums), and the poetry of Jill McGrath.
