  • The Benji Project

    For middle and high school age students. Trained teachers host free 1-hour sessions to share stress relief, connection, and coping practices, twice a week.
  • Olympic Area Agency on Aging (O3A)
    Supports a variety of services for older adults and adults with disabilities, with a goal to help people age in the place of their choosing.

  • Jefferson County Immigrant Rights Advocates (JCIRA)
    JCIRA is a local immigrant rights organization that works with immigrant families on legal help, advocacy, and other services.  JCIRA provides up to $500 grants to help with rent and everyday needs, including to those who may not qualify for government help.       • Senior and immuno-compromised shopping hour from is from 10-11 am. General community shopping from 11 am to 2 pm.
      • The Chimacum Farmers Market will follow the health and safety plan developed in partnership with Jefferson County Public Health listed in their newsletter.

Community Face Masks

N95 masks are in VERY short supply in Jefferson County, and many people want to help. Please do not go to or call the hospital or other clinics about masks.

  • Library book drop boxes will no longer be available for mask donations on or shortly after June 15th; new mask drop off locations will be announced sometime next week. In the meantime, donations will still be accepted at the Food Coop book drop box, as well at the DEM offices directly (please email JCDEM@co.jefferson.wa.us or call 360-385-9368 beforehand to let us know when you’ll be by).   • Do you have masks you might donate? Take a survey to help NPREP and DEM determine if there are any N95 masks available in Jefferson County neighborhoods (by individuals or local neighborhood supplies) that could be donated to health care providers and other emergency responders in need. Take Survey
  • Free Masks. Free Masks are available for anyone at Safeway, QFC/Hadlock, Quilcene Village Store, Food Coop, Public Health Free Masks are also available for our low-income populations at Olycap, Food Banks and Public Health.
